Travel Tips for Parents of Toddlers
The person who originally coined the phrase “Flying The Friendly Skies” clearly not travel with small children. If at any time in the future, you will find a map closely to a wild child (or two), first of all I would like to offer my condolences. As a mother of two boys and a veteran of the so-called “Friendly Skies, I was in your place more than once. Yes, I know – you do not need my sympathy or my sympathy and condolences. Need help! So what it’s worth, here are my words of experience (um, I), my wisdom on how to survive your next trip: Toddler Air Travel Tips # 1: Do not use the white paper bag in the seat pocket in front of you like a paper airplane! It does not matter that you spent a small fortune to keep your luggage loaded with goodies, your target two years entertained for hours. It is an unwritten law that requires that your child is bored in the first fifteen minutes of departure. The white paper bag in the seat pocket in front of you, you begin to sign to promise that if you turn them into paper airplane, or an origami sculpture, the passenger sitting next to small – you good for the next two hours of your trip. Stop – do not do it! Believe me, once you remove the bag, your child vomits everything he ate for breakfast. And guess where the lead by spitting regurgitated food bits. Yes, it’s true – the receiver is not ready! Your pants, shoes, luggage and even new, is covered, which when digested remains of breakfast. My advice – if you want to board the plane on the bag and place it where you want to recover in an instant. And do not touch it again if you need them for their intended use. Toodler Air Travel Tips # 2: Do not allow your child to his seat when the fasten seat belt light security is disabled. I need not tell you that toddlers have a difficult time sitting still for two minutes, let alone two hours. Their little legs were built for running, kicking and jumping. With this in mind, prepare yourself to the fact that your child is whining, and wind, and complain that wind and more. But no matter how he twists and complains it does not resolve to make his seat belt. If you are not willing to repent of your decision. Why? Now, free from the constraints of safety belt, he needed to beat before you run into the hallway, then his inner instinct. You can imagine after the fiasco that will take place. My advice – not unbuckle seat belt for your child is not for any reason. Better yet, bring his car seat with you on the plane and strap himself! Toddler Air Travel Tips # 3: Never make eye contact with other adult passengers. Unfortunately, the majority of your co-passengers who do not understand your situation. There is something stolen, it may be the cramped conditions, altitude, or recycle air, they forget when they were children or had children, or who would end the world if it is not for children. For them, you are the enemy. My advice – you must avoid eye contact with passengers of another adult in the plane. Save yourself the eyes and the eyes, because it is not, you know, not harm you. They have enough on his plate without adding a lot of page fault. Finally, keep your expectations realistic. You’ll survive this trip. You can even organize your own travel tips and words of wisdom when it’s finished!
